Prince Royce is an American singer, songwriter, and record producer.

Born Jeffrey Royce in The Bronx, New York City, he is one of the most well-known Latin American performers of today. Growing up in a Dominican household, Royce developed a passion for music from a young age. He sang in his school choir and participated in talent competitions.

Royce's musical career started when he partnered with Jose Chusan, forming the duo Jino and Royce, El Duo Real. At 16, Royce collaborated with his old friend and producer Donzell Rodriguez, along with Vincent Outerbridge.
